Biography

Jude Radley is a composer and orchestrator based in the UK. He graduated from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (RBC), where he studied composition, and has since worked as an arranger and sound engineer.

 

Jude’s writing draws on influences from rock, contemporary classical, electronic, jazz and soul. He specialises in working with large ensembles, and won 2 awards for his work with the RBC Brass Band, which led to a commission from the world-renowned Tredegar Town Band.

 

As an arranger, Jude has worked with clients including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), and has produced arrangements, scores and parts for orchestra, big band, theatre and chamber ensemble.

 

In 2023, Jude wrote and produced an EP with 12 piece funk band The Jury, entitled In Session, and in 2026 will release a forthcoming jazz indie fusion EP with the 4 piece act Amberlight.
